Järvaskolan is a new type of elementary school. In close collaboration with parents, entrepreneurs, musicians and researchers, the school gives students in a socio-economically vulnerable area the opportunity to achieve their dreams while also having a positive impact on their local community. Järvaskolan’s overarching objective is to develop an effective, scalable and replicable model for elementary schools in vulnerable areas in Sweden, initially focusing on the suburbs of Stockholm.
