Innovation for Integration was an initiative run by Reach for Change during 2016-2019, with the specific objective of improving conditions for unaccompanied minors and newly arrived youth in Sweden. Seven social entrepreneurs have received support to develop solutions that contribute to improved mental well-being, language skills and social networks in the target group. According to an evaluation from 2019, the innovations developed within the program have led to measurable improvements in all these areas. All entrepreneurs who participated in the program state that the support from Reach for Change has been important to their development, and two-thirds state it was critical.

The purpose of their work is to increase the number of young people to become more active participants in society, to combat discrimination and exclusion through the most important step towards effective integration - work.

The program aims to provide young people with the necessary knowledge, tools and networks to participate in their local community and to enter the labor market.
