Barnrättsbyrån (The Children's Rights Office) is a children's rights organization that works to help children and young people get the right help from society. The organization works on behalf of the children and young people they meet and offers support, advice and practical help on issues related to their rights. It can be about getting information about rights, getting support in contact with authorities, getting help to express their opinions and understanding difficult decisions and processes. 2020 is a milestone for children's rights in Sweden – then the Children's Convention becomes law. Together with the Stenbeck Stiftelse, Barnrättsbyrån wants to work to change practices in Sweden, in accordance with the intentions of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, with the aim of giving more children the opportunity to live a good life.
