Föreningen Utnyttjad.se
The organization Utnyttjad.se wants to create a public opinion against the crime of sexual abuse against children and raise awareness of the situation for sexually abused children. In the long term, they want to help to improve the life situation of sexually exploited children.
All children are entitled to a childhood in safety and to play without fear. Utnyttjad.se therefore believe that it is important to show courage and build knowledge, in order to to help children that lives in deprivation. It is also important that the people around these children dare to listen to the child’s stories and dare to see and understand how they live.
Utnyttjad.se was founded by the sisters Johanna Järnhäll and Åsa Järnhäll Olsson. The sisters created the website www.utnyttjad.se in 2008 and got immediately overwhelming response.
Both Johanna and Åsa are driven by a strong commitment to this issue and will not stop until they have made a difference. They believe that it is time for society to stop turning a blind eye and to stop avoiding the terrible crimes that these children are victims of. It is time to take the lid off and take a stand!
Dare to see, dare to listen and dare to act!
The vision for Utnyttjad.se is that all vulnerable children receive help in time and are treated with more courage.
The mission is to raise public awareness. Their main focus is to draw attention to the estimated number of unknown cases. They will develop programs to inform and educate teachers in schools and preschools. This will lead to a greater ability to help and listen to the vulnerable children.
The aim is that fellow human beings in general will dare to see, dare to hear and dares to act.
