Criteria for Social Entrepreneurs

Please read through the selection criteria for Hugo Stenbeck's Stiftelse (HSS) carefully before you submit your application. All applications are treated confidentially and all applicants will be informed in writing about the status of their application.

If you find that you fit the criteria, please fill out the on-line application form; step 1 in the application process.

If, as a result of an initial review, HSS staff concludes that your idea may be eligible for funding, you will receive instructions on how to complete step 2 in the application process. If, however, HSS staff decides that there is no prospect of support from HSS, you will be notified promptly.

Who and what do we support?

• We support social entrepreneurs with innovative ideas for sustainable solutions for social problems and challenges.

• We can only support ideas/initiatives that will be realized in Sweden, and that benefit persons residing in Sweden.

• We only support ideas/initiatives that have clear, defined and measurable objectives.

• During 2010–2015 the Foundation will primarily support applications that aim to contribute to children’s right to play, leisure and recreation.

Please note that the Hugo Stenbeck's Foundation can only grant applications for ideas that will be realized in Sweden, and that benefit persons residing in Sweden. The application process is only available in Swedish.

Copy-and-paste

We recommend you to write your application in a word processing program and then copy-and-paste it into the on-line application form. In this way, you will have a back-up copy of your text if something goes wrong when your application is sent .
